Delivery & Return Policy – Die Wyn Meester

At Die Wyn Meester, we aim to provide our customers with reliable delivery services and a fair returns process. Please read the following policy carefully before placing your order.


1. Delivery Policy

1.1 Delivery Method

  • All orders are fulfilled using a trusted third-party courier service.

  • Delivery will be made to the address provided at checkout.

1.2 Delivery Areas

  • We currently deliver within South Africa only.

  • Certain remote or outlying areas may be subject to extended delivery times or additional charges.

1.3 Delivery Timeframes

  • Orders are usually dispatched within 2–4 business days after payment is received.

  • Standard delivery typically takes 3–7 business days, depending on location.

  • Delays may occur due to factors beyond our control (e.g., courier delays, strikes, natural events).

1.4 Delivery Fees

  • Delivery fees will be calculated and displayed at checkout before you confirm your order.

  • Free delivery promotions (if applicable) will be clearly advertised.

1.5 Proof of Delivery & Age Verification

  • A signature may be required upon delivery.

  • Proof of age (18+) may be requested by the courier before handing over the order.


2. Return Policy

2.1 Eligibility for Returns

You may request a return or replacement if:

  • The product delivered is damaged or defective,

  • The product delivered is incorrect (not what you ordered).

2.2 Exclusions

  • Returns are not accepted for opened bottles of wine, unless the product is proven defective.

  • Products damaged due to mishandling after delivery will not be eligible for return.

2.3 Process for Returns

  • To initiate a return, contact us at info@diewynmeester.co.za within 7 days of receiving your order.

  • Provide your order number, description of the issue, and (if possible) photos of the product.

  • We will arrange a collection through our courier service or request that you return the product using an approved method.

2.4 Refunds & Replacements

  • If your return is approved, we will offer either:

    • A replacement product, or

    • A refund (processed to the original payment method).

  • Refunds may take up to 10 business days to reflect, depending on your payment provider.


3. Responsibility During Delivery

  • Risk of loss or damage passes to you once the order has been delivered to the address provided.

  • Please inspect your parcel upon delivery and report any issues immediately.
